Congratulations on your graduation!

There was a prize giving ceremony separately from the graduation ceremony. So in my case, I had my graduation ceremony in May 2008 yet had the prize giving ceremony in June 2008. However, this may be changed now so you'd better check the faculty event schedule if possible.

As far as your question is concerned, there was unfortunately some kind of mistake so I did not receive any notification of my prizes until the end of May. I got the final notification to confirm my attendance at the ceremony so I was eventually noticed about it. Thus my suggestion is to update your contact details such as your address, email address and phone number.

My name is Rock. I am an internatioal student from UTS who had finished my BScIT degree in December 2008. I hope I have a chance to win the Insearch Prize which is awarded to the most outstanding international student graduating in BScIT. My average mark is 77 (Distinction).
Could you tell me how long before the graduation ceremony you received the notification from UTS saying that you have won the prize? I will attend the ceremony in May 2009. Could you tell me when I will probably receive the notification if I have won the prize? Thank you very much.
